What if your new pet doesn’t require walking, feeding or cleaning the cage but instead insists on feeding you information? French company Violet has invented Nabaztag, the “first Smart Rabbit”. Nabaztag does not only look incredibly cute, it will also be your personal communication assistant if you connect it to the internet. With its integrated WiFi-card it provides you with all the information you need: in the morning it wakes you up with up-to-date weather and traffic reports, your favorite RSS news feeds or blogs. It also reads your e-mails, voice and text messages and even communicates with your friends by using individualized rabbit sign language. It can move, talk, sing songs or blink its lights – all according to the private codes and color matches you and your friends agreed on. Plus by registering Nabaztag for these services you become part of the global Nabaztag community. Pretty smart, eh?
